As I am writing this, there is now snow on the ground again, which I suppose is a reminder that it still is winter, even though we have been having record temperatures that spoiled all of us.

I guess one plus to colder temps, is that if you enjoy watching the bald eagles, it will be easier to spot them again as they congregate in non-frozen areas of the rivers.
